A samovar is much smaller than a piece of tea brick, making it easier to buy and retail. Tea from the surface looks like a round bread, which looks like a thick-walled bowl from the bottom, and the middle is concave.

Today, we will talk about tea.
The origin of tea:

The production history of Tuocha has a long history. As early as in the book “The Briefing of Yunnan”, there is a record of “Many people steam Pucha into cake. Pucha refers to Pu-erh tea, which indicates that the tea has been steamed, processed and compressed, and compressed to make it easy to carry.

In history, Jingu people Li Wenxiang founded a tea workshop in the twenty-sixth year of Guangxu (1900), using the sun-dried green tea as a raw material to steam the moon cake-shaped group tea, also known as Gucha.

Then, under the production of Maoheng and Yongchangxiang of Xiaguan (now Dali City) in Yunnan Province, they were copied into “bowl-shaped tea”, and there were also points between Guzhuang and Guanzhuang. In the past 40 years, Yunnan tea has been made in Xiaguan mostly.Yunnan glutinous tea is steamed into a bowl shape with primary and secondary materials. The outer diameter is 8 cm and the height is 4.5 cm.

In addition to Yunnan’s production, there are also productions in Chongqing. According to the quality of the raw materials used, it is divided into three categories: “Superior Chongqing Tea”, “Chongqing Tea” and “Shancheng Tea”. The weight of Chongqing tea is divided into 50 grams, 100 grams and 150 grams.
The origin of the name of Tuocha:

It was transformed from the regiment. It was said that it was named after the Sichuan-Yangtze River in the past. Regardless of the statement, it can be presumed that tea is a fairly old product in Yunnan tea and has been sold well both inside and outside the province.

Two statements about the shape of tea:

Argument 1: According to legend, it was originally made from loose tea to make tea, brick tea and cake tea. The bar tea is round-shaped, the brick tea is square-shaped, and the cake tea is round-shaped. Later, slowly evolved into tea.
Narrative 2: Tea was evolved from the “Pu’an Group Tea” in the Ming Dynasty and the “Daughter Tea” in the Qing Dynasty.

“Team Tea” is a small tea cake produced in the Song Dynasty. It was originally made for the court to drink when Ding was a Fujian official. The tea cake is printed with dragon and phoenix patterns. The dragons of the printing plate called “Dragon Group” or Longcha, Panlong Tea, Dragon Baking, and Xiaotuan Long; the Yinfeng people called “Feng Tuan” or Fengguo, Xiaofeng Group and so on.

In the Yunnan tea area, the industrious women of all ethnic groups have been the main force in the production of tea since ancient times. They often greet the sun, the wind, the sun, the early morning, and tea. Tea is integrated into their emotions and they have their hopes. The tea they produce is often referred to as “daughter tea”.

Finally, why is tea not round and has a nest?

This is because it is not convenient to store in a spherical shape, and it is difficult to foam. The shape of the socket head is easy to carry and open.
Classification of tea:

Yunnan tea is divided into raw oysters and cooked oysters. Its shape is different from that of ordinary tea. It has a special shape. It looks like a round loaf from above. It looks like a thick-walled bowl from the bottom, and the middle is concave. Each net weight is about 100 grams and 250 grams. According to the grade, it is divided into four grades: special grade, grade A, grade B and grade C.

Judging from the processing technology and process, the processing technology of Tuocha is the process of Pu-erh tea. The oysters are directly steamed and pressed from Yunnan big leaf seeding tuocha, which is mainly sold in various provinces in China.

The cooked glutinous rice is made from the artificial glutinous rice after the fermentation of the artificial glutinous rice as the raw material, and the cooked glutinous rice has the characteristics of brown color, bright red color, warm and sweet taste, and rich flavor to export.
